A7: Pennsylvania’s Management of the Opioid Epidemic: Updates and Innovations

The Pennsylvania Department of Human Services is working to address the opioid crisis by implementing Centers of Excellence that focus on the whole person, with the explicit goal of integrating behavioral health with primary care. Jason Snyder, Special Assistant to the Secretary of DHS, will give us an update about the successes of Centers of Excellence in combating the opioid epidemic. Workshop attendees will also hear from practitioners who are implementing innovative centers of excellence in their communities, to address specific populations affected by the crisis.
