Municipalities across Pennsylvania have immigrant residents seeking to establish themselves personally and professionally in their new communities. However, there are often a variety of obstacles that make it difficult for newer arrivals to succeed, from language barriers to professional licensing requirements. This workshop will focus on the housing and supportive service needs of immigrants, with an emphasis on the economic, educational, legal, and other tools that can help individuals and families achieve upward mobility.
