B7: Preventing Homelessness for Justice Involved Women

Throughout this workshop, we will look at the underlying dynamics that connect trauma and housing instability and how a cross system approach can support women in successfully re-entering and contributing to the community. Come and hear about two different programs, including the challenges and necessary steps in creating a trauma informed partnership between the justice system and service providers, to ensure justice-involved women achieve long-term stability, prevention of recidivism, housing security, and financial self-sufficiency.
