A5: Effective Approaches for Addressing Blight in Extremely Rural Areas

This session will feature a panel with representatives from three predominantly rural counties – Armstrong, Greene, and McKean – and will focus on efforts to-date to address blighted properties in those areas. Issues covered will include blight, right-sizing tools to address rural challenges, and different ways of overcoming the limited capacity of rural areas in staffing and resources. We will provide case studies from each county.
